I do know what this is, but I am trying to get an approximate age on it. It is as I said an advertising good luck token that would have a penny in the center. It isn't in the best shape. The front says " Friendly Loan & Finance Co, Phoenix, Ariz. quick loans $20.00 to $300.00, just say lend me fifty, Henry." The back just has the typical " Keep me and you will have good luck" It is aluminum and any help on the age would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. IMG_0001.JPG IMG_0002.JPG

The “Henry” referred to was Henry Goodman, president of the Friendly Loan & Finance Company of 210 Adams, Phoenix. There are adverts for the company using that “lend me fifty, Henry” slogan in Phoenix newspapers from between 1940-1942.

Thank you. I never thought to comb the newspapers for old ads.

"ARIZ' vs "AZ" might also be a clue as to the age.
Looks like it may pre-date the Post Office's switch to 2-letter state abbreviations.
Though not conclusive of course, it may lend some assistance to dating.
