old bullet help ?

Welcome to the forum,Puggsley. Could you try another photo next to a ruler for size,or measure it for us? Trouble is,this type of bullet was used from before the Civil war right up to the present day. I use cast bullets with grease grooves in my revolvers. So a sharper photo and measurements make the difference in telling old from new.

Your's looks like a two ringer, but... the pics are fuzzy like junkdigger said - since you see the real deal you'll hafta decide fer yourself on age, or get a betterpicture posted
