Hi everyone,

Went detecting at an old mid 1900s homesite earlier. Found a few things there but it's a really trashy site with so much in the ground. I did manage to find a little compact and a cool button that I can't find much on. Then I dug a mid tone and one after another were bullets which was pretty cool! Don't really know how old they are but they are in bad shape. The other larger piece I have no idea what it is and says made in the USA. Through out the time I was there I kept finding these led peices that look like homemade buttons.
Thanks for looking

That's cool, I love any kind of spill. Those look like bullets that would go to a gun like a 38 special
Thank you. I agree with you on finding any kind of spill as well. I know, the bottom of the bullet says 38 long

The mystery object "Made in USA" is an old two stage gas regulator. And your homemade lead buttons are impacted bullets! :D

Respectfully :
Part of it makes me thing low pressure system.
The bale looks like a holder for a fuel filter/water Seperator glass. It's having a screen on the area above hints of it's possible use. (Fuel drops through screen before reaching the glass reservoir).

Most tractor type fuel strainers are more like the piece with the bale , than having two sections like this example the o.p. pictures.
Could the other half be a fuel pump?
The notch in it (to drive it?) is not unlike some magneto slots.

Oiler / water seperator for a compressed air system might be another guess.
