Welcome to TNET it appears to be copper it might have been silver plated at one time. Hope this helps? HH :icon_thumright:

I'd add about 170yrs to the date of the house. :wink: Found this at a late 1800's early 1900's site that was so trashy I had to pull the plug and leave it.But did find this ring before I left.It is copper but had a thin layer of gold plateing over it at one point.(1/30th 14k)
