New dirt….Armed with a replacement coil for my ace, I went back to my old elementary school today that dates back to the 1930’s…Up till about the early 70’s the town held its fairs on the playgrounds…unfortunately, this was also when a major renovation/expansion took place, which in turn led to major re-grading of most of the grounds…Most of the morning was spent digging clad at 4+ inches…Total for the day was 10 quarters, 15 dimes, 5 nickels, 21 memorials, a button(pretty sure it’s just off an old blazer) and a ring which I thought might be silver(not)…at least the clad to cent ratio was in my favor…I’m convinced there’s still silver to be found there...But the best part of the day was reliving the memories of being a five year old kid…Sorry no pics of the place yet….I still have problems sharing…

WTG, looks like you did all right.

Nice haul Copperhead! You beat my dad who was at the playground digging through woodchips with his Ace 250. He came out with $4.05 in clad and cents and found 2 squished pennies, all in about 2.5 hours. I didn't get to hunt today... maybe tomorrow morning on the bright ;-)

nice finds and that rings cleaned up nice

See...............new coil...............here come the nice finds...........nice job

Cheers!

Dugholes :laughing7:
