I'm an idiot. I've been looking all over the net for help id'ing this (and a few other) button, and there was a forum here all along. This button looks like many early 1800's eagle buttons I have seen, but no shield. Sure would like to put a date on it. Sorry, no back, just the cap left when I found it.
Thanks,
BobJ
