Took a trip down to the city this morning.
The temps were great. Figured I would do a little swinging.
Man oh man, this old spot of my keeps producing.
The first deep signal I got was a strange one.
I flipped this scarf out of the ground and was like WHAT??
I swung my coil over it and it gave a nice mid tone.
When I felt the bag I thought it had rocks in it.
When I emptied the bag this is what I saw ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1452903254.864889.jpg
I was very surprised. It must of had some luck for me.
Because the next target was the Spanish half reale.
ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1452903380.329659.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1452903393.580500.jpg
Then I started to dig every blip!!
Wow what a day. Had a lot of fun,
There some things I'm not sure about so please chime in if you know..
Especially one this one I really like it. It's silver and neat. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1452903554.204636.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1452903564.804292.jpg
Enjoy the rest of the pics. There's a lot of them..
Till the spring

Looks like a really fun day George. A little bit of everything along with some "make your day" finds. Any time you're getting those digs in January, its just gravy.

Excellent variety, the weather is still decent in NYC.
Going to be in the upper 40's tomorrow. I have to get out.
Congrats on all your finds

What a hunt! Budda is me, he's telling you I need to come back after the rain. lol I was looking at the 5 day forecast, doesn't look too bad, it's not over yet buddy.
Almost forgot I don't think anyone noticed the reverse of that Flying Eagle you found, if you look fast it looks like the reverse of that Indian!

Wowzers George !! Man you certainly do know your stuff. Killer hunt again!
You are at one with that deus that's for sure. But I hear its. 10% machine and 90% operator.
So. Do you feel you could dig these items using any other machine. Or do you believe the deus is the "one"to go to ?
Thanks Charlie (eastcoast)

Great hunt George. Really liking the silver thing, reale and LC.... But my favorite is the scarf of rocks with gold. Makes me wonder why someone buried that thing. Really cool finds man.

Yep I was mistaken, its a IH 1859 not a eagle.
Thanks, it was definitely a good hunt.

50/50 Charlie, half the targets I could have found with any decent detector. And the other half You really needed to know your matching.

Congratulations on the Spanish and seated. Neither of those are found in sweet tea country with any regularity. Nice finds...

I only use the deus now. I sold my CTX
Thanks DC

I considered the CTX, looks like a pretty good unit but the weight really turned me off. What are you bringing for a backup detector?

If I had my way I would just have two Deus machines.

Don't need a back up.
I have 2 headphones and 2 coils.
So that's all we need.
If one of are controllers go we can program with the headphones or we can borrow it from each other to set it up then we good to go!
