IMGP0248.webpIMGP0251.webpIMGP0059 (2).webpIMGP0058 (1).webp Over the years we've found quite a few Large cents but most have been totally toasted and in poor condition. These two are exceptions. I dug the 1808 in a ball field that originally was a vegetable farm dating back to the early 1800's. Sue dug the 1802 in a small park not far from the town we live in.

Very nice coins, congrats:icon_thumright:

Hard soil most times on these coins, but I dug a few that were pretty:

Wow! Nice save. Beautiful condition for being in the ground that long. Congrats

Those both look good! I dug one a while back in field here in Southwest Georgia that was minted in 1842 but, time and farm chemicals did it in.

Very nice finds Clad2Silver. Congrat's to you and Sue on some great saves. I'm just curious......you sound an awful lot like a gentlemen that is referred to as the Coinstar King and a friend of mine on another forum. Could it possibly be that you two are one in the same? :hello: If so, this is KR from TQ.

Awesome old coppers! :occasion14:

That largie looks in great condition. Congrats :occasion14:

We don’t find large cents very often but occasionally we do, and this one is from the sand so it doesn’t get better than that. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1533957361.547535.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1533957376.364700.webp

Very nice large cents. One of my favorite coins! Congrats!

This 1795 wasn’t terrible. Was impressed the date was still that prominent

A large cent is the only coin I ever found .It was in rough shape to the point the date is not possible to determine . There are some great examples shown here .

Here are my two best.
