Me and two of my buddies got out for probably the last field hunt of the year. We’ve been to this permission a few times and it always coughs up something. Today the ground was frozen 2” down but it was manageable with a few good kicks. We believe this spot to be a muster field for local militia because we’ve found militia buttons, muskets balls and a ton of toe taps. Anyway, the field is pretty good to coppers as a few oldies have come up very nice ( William III and KGI) last time there I found a ‘61 fatty Indian in great shape and today I got my second flying eagle cent that doesn’t suck like my first. Anyway, that was about it for me, the other two guys pulled up 4 coppers and a beautiful 1781 2 Reale. The also pulled up a few more military buttons that I’ll post when I get their photos.
happy new year!!!!!!!!!!!

The entire center of the field is littered with iron, I dug everything that had a chirp to it, emptied my bag twice😬
