I’m no help archaic or paleo but what’s going on with that notching? Reminds me of a tanged knife, but it’s so tiny it seems almost useless. Interesting piece I haven’t seen one like that posted before.

I agree with Dwain Rogers..it's Archiac...haven't heard of any side or corner-notched knives being found in a Paleo site. I've found a couple of broken ones around here....Nice Find!

Made of Alibates flint from a long ways away in the Texas Panhandle. Dwain Rogers agreed with the Alibates but call it archaic, what do you guys think ?? A Archaeologist from New Mexico State University stopped by for a book yesterday and said it was paleo.
