I have always had a weird sense of spirits whenever I go somewhere and think it comes from my mom cause she has the same feelings about spirits. I have had several occurrences I can attribute to being paranormal. My family once owned a farm in Nwa that was once a union campsite and also had a field hospital out in the field and once used the old two story house as a hospital and refuge. That old two story house was very neat and my brother and I used it as a club. There was no electric nor any other utilities in the house. We always kept it dead bolted and both doors had master locks on them. Some nights you could drive by and the upstairs would have a very bright glowing like a candle being burned in the upstairs bedroom facing the rest of the field where the camp was at. Once while inside the house moving stuff out to make room for more junk my mother, brother, and I heard loud footsteps coming downstairs and we ran outside and waited for someone to exit. Well no one ever came out. When the house was burned down after years of disrepair we found several mushroomed bullets, bone saw, old metal candle holder, and old medicine bottles that dated to period. All found under house in the crawl space area.

There is one colonial site when sometimes my metal detector will suddenly stop working, I look to see that the ON/OFF/VOLUME knob has been turned all the way off, very strange considering that there was nothing to have touched it. It always happens in one area of that site.

only 2 that seem to repeat themselves often.

1. Walk into a new or long hammered forgotten site , & first dig of the day is the Best & only find.

2. park my car search the whole area getting Skunked, and on my way out,
get my best find within a few feet of where I parked.

of course lately getting skunked seems to be happening too regularly to be normal

yes that area can be 10 / 20 acres in size & for some reason,
we can walk directly to that indianhead, or Seated coin,
turn our detector on & find it :laughing7:
then spent the rest of the day walking :BangHead:

sort of makes psychic Dowsing make sense :laughing7:

I also go to a new site, find an incredible find within minutes, sometimes two or more good items within a short time. When I go back, nothing, nothing at all I may try again more than once, still nothing.

Both times I found great condition 1803 large cents I came back more than once with nothing.

I've had experiences at old colonial sites before and of course alone.......but the first time was when working this area had been before but with friends that I was getting that feeling of being watched and started to get a feeling of a old man looking down on me with deep sunken in eyes watching me swing and his look opon me was like " you need to leave your not welcome here" so I decided to leave so bad karma wouldn't follow if you will until another day.........now just recently this site I'm working right now I was in a middle of a dig and of course headphones were on my head still and I swear someone or thing ran right by me but saw nothing and had grabbed my leshce shovel like getting ready for attack and looked around all through the woods before continuing on and maybe worked another half hour before calling it quits but nothing bothered again though..........also always coming across confrontations with moose too there not very nice come close getting charged once......so when I hunt now I hunt with one ear open for the woods
