Hunted most of the day yesterday and I think it's the most coins I've ever found in one day. 292 coins for $17.30 in change. Just 2 wheat cents and no silver, but, I did find an old Ford emblem and a Ford model T valve stem cap. Also found 4 tokens (all modern) a Canadian cent, a 1979 dog license, a medial alert tag, 2 junk earrings, a Disney Reed and Barton Mickey Mouse top? cover? to something,, several misc tags, a few whatsit's, and a whole bunch of junk.

The federal minimum wage is $7.25 per hour, so I hope you were at it for no more than 2 1/2 hours.

Just thinking how heavy your finds bag was carrying all that:icon_scratch: (just kidding). Got tired thinking of all that digging too. Congrats on all your finds.

Wow, you must be sore by now! I tried to clean up a trashy spot about 3 months ago and dug a huge pile of targets like that. Now I have what's known as turf toe on my left foot from all that kneeling. Ouch!
Congrats on your finds!

Hey, it was heavy! Must have weighed 10lbs. There was a big hunk of copper (along with that sprinkler head) and another of lead in that pile of junk.

That big hunk of copper might be worth a few bucks. Sometimes I find more value in the scrap of the junk I dig vs. the face value of the coins.

Thanks for the post of your detecting day. No shortage of targets!

Looks like a nice variety of finds. At least you picked up some coffee money for your efforts.
