My at pro, could barely hit a 8" buried half dollar. Video uploading. And also I have a coin test garden, which has a penny at 6", dimes at 6" & 8" and quarters at 6" and 8" it's around 2-3 months old so the video to test that is coming up as well. Sent from my expensive phone I really don't need

Is this thread still going? Jeez. Oh yeah, found a chunky gold ring today with my ATP.

Wow!!! What a beauty!!! That one looks heavy. How much does it weigh, what K is it? What did it read on your AT Pro?

Thanks guys. I love my ATP. It's all I know, but I know how to use it and I enjoy it. Been detecting for only a month but I have had a blast. Here is the stuff that I have found so far.

I'm sure that there are better detectors but I am glad that I bought this one. I know my findings arent ground breaking but I'm having fun and there is always the anticipation of finding something amazing. Hell, finding those wedding bands was awesome. Great feeling. Great hobby.

Great finds!!! Are you having fun? That's what matters most and the detector you have will find the good stuff. Congrats.

Best advice so far. Not everyone is going to dig lots of gold, or relics, or silver or coins. It all depends on where you live and how much time you want to put into the hobby. If you are having fun.....it's worth the time spent!

Finally! Someone who understands my pain! I'm starting to like it tho as I found 2 wheats, and a merc today. My only complaint today is depth, it ID fine, but the tones were faint! I'm thinking around 8 inches on coins is about Max. But I'm ok with that. I'll just upgrade next year to a f75 ltd or deus.

lol First thing I thought too!

My F75 won't shut up! It's too unstable! I'm still digging bottle caps! I know it's not me, this machine sucks!
