This year on April 3rd I found at my REv WAr site my 2nd French Flur De Leis 6 pounder cannon ball . The first in my 23 years hunting there a good 15 years ago. So being an old military guy went on a mission to find a British and American cannon ball before this hunting season was done. O the 6th found a Brit 6 pounder. Yesterday I accomplished that mission with extracting a American 1 pounder from a cliff the American's cannonaded before landing Militia on the 28th of July 1779. Google "Trask Rock" to learn about it. Mission accomplished. Also this beautiful Victorian ladies hat pin in pewter.

Silvermonkey- Yup I have been told many times I have a lot of balls and take that as a complement . Not many 71 year olds would say hell I am going to climb that rock face just to find history where I know the American's cannonaded this whole shoreline. However being an old soldier I kinda live by "No Guts No Glory" In the words of Arnie "I'LL be Back. . That is to climb it again to see what may still be there.
Also to xcopperstax- I have been a student of this battle/siege now for over 25 years and hunting it for 23 of them and to Rege yup i do plan a book in a few years after I hopefully hit that 25th year. . Here is an old pics of me with BIG Balls . Quit smoking , lost weight and do PLanet Fitness. Can't do anything about the age thingy. Life is indeed good. Thanks as always for your thoughts and questions.

Superb recoveries "Relic God of Castine"...……. Impressed with the history as soon it will be the 240th Anniversary of the battle.
