Love the Rodeo star!

One of your tokens is, I think, a 1900 bread token from A.B. Bumstead of Victor, Colorado. I can persuade myself that the word in the centre is a very chewed up “GROCER”. The rest seems to match, including the fleur-de-lis:

Bumstead.jpg

The other one seems to say “SOUTH LOGAN” (a business address in Denver?)

Is the tag for some kind of dog or personal property registration scheme? Seems to say “GERMAN REGISTRY COMPANY WILL IDENTIFY OWNER (unreadable word) NUMBER 46104 DAY OR NIGHT (unreadable words perhaps beginning HOLLAN…). I know there was an insurance company called the “German Registry Company” operating around 1910 but couldn’t find an address for them outside St Louis, Missouri.

I guess you know the button with the ‘P’ on it is a police button.

Some cool relics there.

I have been having a blast getting out before it gets to cold! These are from the past few hunts! I hope you are all getting some detecting in!! The tokens are pretty toast. I think one of the pictures is a horse rosette, what do you think??

Thanks Red-Coat, how funny. That’s a picture of my token I had put on tokencataog. I didn’t recognize it. It’s one I wish I would have kept. Thank you!! The owner had it stolen so if the token ever pops up for sale there will be some questions. The key tag is interesting. I’ll have to really look at it to see if I can read it. Pretty interesting company! Have a great day and thanks again!!
