Yes Denmark 😉What does the back look like? I am guessing you meant "Denmark", not "Denmarm"?

No :-( - Maybe if i find out, how to remove the "age-of time -in-the dirt"Can you make out the backmark?
Good reading.... Could be København (Copenhagen)Cool button. Don't recognise the crest, but it looks like a civilian button... fashion or perhaps livery.
The only part of the backmark I can read appears to be the letters 'E B H V N', which doesn't ring any bells as either initials or a partial name.

(C. L Seifert) Yes, I have Come to the same conclusion, and wrote the company an email yesterday, hoping for answer. But do you have knowledge about Seifert buttons and uniforms?Could the backmark read C.L.S. Eifert ; Kjobenhavn?
I use a Dremel rotary tool with the #428 wire brush attachment to clean off the "age of time" corrosion. It often reveals back marks that are recessed / inscribed. Just be careful using it on the embossed/raised design, and know that it will take off some of the original surface. (I wouldn't use it on a button that still had any gilt on it).No :-( - Maybe if i find out, how to remove the "age-of time -in-the dirt"
