I wouldn’t recommend but licking it probably was safer than peeling it, asbestos is dangerous when those little fibers become airborne and get in your lungs. I’d also add licking rocks isn’t all that crazy it’s a way to identify certain rocks and to differentiate rock from bone.

Well thank you everyone for the input ...and i must say ...i did feel a little less intelligent as i waz texting the fact that i licked a rock ...lol ...so just in case anyone was wondering ....asbestos diesnt really taste like anything its got a strange fiber texture...but no taste
