✅ SOLVED Popped a brass whatsit, require some assistance

We had a fun little club hunt today at a 1910s homesite and didn't find a ton of goodies but I got this cool brass wedge thingamaging and was thinking a ax-handle wedge maybe?? It has the crude mold seam and the ribbing, only other thought is a match strike. Any suggestion would be appreciated, hope yall having a nice weekend .
