carved rock?

hello, this is my first post in the this forum. I found this rock awhile back, and thought it looked interesting. Kinda looks carved. coloration differs from top to bottom and is very smooth in texture. I found it while hunting some 1800's spots. Just thought I would get some experienced eyes on it! Thanks for looking, Jobrian

It is so small, but I don't think it's a bead, may be someone has seen something like this before, but nature can make some strange rocks and fool you. Welcome to Tnet:hello:

I agree not a bead, and im pretty sure if it was carved, anyone in the last couple hundred years could have accomplished this masterpiece!

Natural I do think. We have a rock forum here at Tnet. Try putting it there and see if they can tell you the type it might be.
