possible coin error??

I got this 2000 d penny back in change today and it looks like maybe an offset error. I'm still pretty new at this, but the rim looks like it doubles or is off and it created double line around the whole inside of the coin. Can you take a look and let me know if this is a valuable error or not. Thank you.

The likely cause is a Copper Plating issue but Die Deterioration could have had a hand in it as well.
