Possibly worked chert?

Possibly 'worked' chert?

This stone, found on a rocky shoreline..'stuck out like a sore thumb' from the rest of the light colored stones (limestone,dolomite).
Thought it looks like 'chipped' chert for tools/arrowheads?
More knowledgeable peoples thought appreciated.

Not sure of the material but I see no sign of it being worked by humans.

Hey ''T'' It really doesn't show any appearence of being used as a tool. But it does look kind of like a piece of jade or jasper. Thanks for sharing!
