I bet it was hard to leave Copper at the vet to recuperate from surgery.

Very hard! When we were running all the tests to find out what was wrong with his liver, they knocked him out to do a ultrasound and he almost didn't wake up from it, so now anytime we know he has to be on any drugs it's nerve-racking waiting to here that we can pick him up.

Yes, from what I hear with animals, it's almost like 50 / 50. I always cringed when they told me they would have to knock Simon out. Then with my son's German Shepherd was also nerve racking. Generally, they try to do everything at once, on my son's it was for three days in a row and that was dangerous as they did not know from day to day how much was still in her system.

Buddy, the bulldog, and Lena, the boxer/lab mix. We've had them for about 3 weeks now and they get along great. Play all the time.

Simon, I have been meaning to ask you how you were doing with your project. I am glad to see you sharing your pics with us! As I told you, we don't have pets anymore. I will try to come up with my past pets. For now, I will post my family's pets.

You have met Kai. He's my mom and dad's baby. Worldtalker has affectionately dubbed him the "sausage with legs" haha! He doesn't like it when I tell him he's fat!

These are my "Granddogs." Bocephus, aka Bo-Bo, aka Bo. He's pretty old. He can still do some tricks though.

It is challenging for him to put up with the antics of the "new kid," Chihuly.

Chihuly is named after Dale Chihuly, the glass sculpting artist, because of the eye patch. He's much bigger than this now. Chihuly has somehow broken through to Mr. Wd. He has never bonded with any other pet like he has with Chihuly, since I've known him. Even my daughter, son-in-law and both grandsons are surprised at how Grandpa acts around this dog! As you can see, Chihuly thinks Grandma is sweet! LOL!
