I'm a "Newbie", and I concentrate on relics, so I thought I'd post some of my better finds from the past. I used an Old Nautilus MF to find most of these, then that detector died. So I bought a Fisher 1265X in the early 90's, and did pretty good off and on for years. I just recently got back into the hobby (divorce and other things got me off track for a few years), and bought a Tesoro Vaquero and IT ROCKS! I'm going over fields I had thought were dug out, and I'm finding stuff way deeper than ever before. Most of the finds in the picture are from Northern Florida; the US Box Plate is from the siege lines of Savannah Georgia. Some of the artifacts are Second Seminole War, but most are Civil War.
