Go over to the North American Indian Artifact forum and you'll understand why we think this is just a rock.

Geologist of "natural" history was the right place to take it. Even the earliest stone tools showed remarkable workmanship and resembled a tool. I do not see the hand of man on that piece. It is a geofact. Keep looking though and visit the "North American Artifact" section for many examples of stone tools.
Thanks for sharing.

Did you also show that person just an image with no size reference or description; or back-story of where found and how?

I have plenty of indian artifacts, this was confirmed by a geologist at the Charlotte Mueseum of Natural history and a local geology teacher (dont know his credentials) the back has a little wear like it was almost glued to something. I'm trying to dig it back out. Thanks joe
