Maybe I should start at the beginning. A woman has now approached 3 females from our lines whom I know from genealogy searching. She directly states that through the meta DNA it is clear via her Gene specialist that she is my grandfather's illigitimate daughter's daughter(my second cousin?)
We talk on mult occasions and all I can eve tually get out of her is that she is related to my grandfather's neices or nephews as 1st cousins? But it is via DNA sent in by his sister. Later it occurs to me that she could be the brother in law's brother's child's child to be a cousin too. If anyone wants to delve into this saga..please contact me. I do not understand her dna info. She had asked me then to pay to have hers run directly?* I am experienced in geneology searching only.

Did your family members in question run their DNA through ancestry.com or one of the others? I ran mine and it gives your genetic matches of others who also ran their dna. I have traced mine back to mid 1300s so far and it has revealed some amazing history to me.

Have her pay for it herself. It's very inexpensive these days. It's kind of like the like from "Spaceballs" loosely paraphrased here: He's my father's, brother's, sister's, aunt's ROOMMATE - so No relation.

Or as they say in Brooklyn - fuggetaboutit.

I knew a woman who would look in the newspaper for funerals then go there and claim her son was the illegitmate offspring of the deceased. That was before DNA testing got popular. What a lowlife.

My wife does couples counseling and one of her clients was having a rough time dealing with an issue that her husband learned through a ancestry DNA test came up with an unknown daughter from his past long before they were married. I guess the wife is having issues dealing with the idea that the family she and her husband began isn't the one she had come to expect it to be.

A child support worker told me whenever a young man died, CSRU would get several applications for the Social security benefits that deceased parents kids get.

Just send me 200 bucks and the last cigarette butt you smoked and I'll tell you where you came from.
