Got out for little while found a lot of iron two hoes one was blacksmith made, bridle rosette without the lead and bar on the back just the brass, Part of wood cook stove, Ax head, lipstick tube, and picked up some mason jar lids and lots of junk for me very enjoyable day.

That hoe on the left is hand forged and just screams colonial. I bet that rang your chimes?

Most of these old people didn't have much that survived, but what they did have is always interesting. Nice finds!

I don't think I've ever dug a rosette the closest things were found in a camp but were Iron Backed with 'Chipping ' thin Brass faces .

Love the double bit AX Head those Iron hoes will clean up nicely.
