Well, I decided on going with the NOX 900. Not really sure how well Iā€™ll like it, Iā€™m not technologically advanced enough to understand everything right now but I am just needing the basics. Hereā€™s the scenario currently: Iā€™m hunting a home built in 1838, thatā€™s amazing looking, as far as the original picture goes, and the newer version isnā€™t half bad either, I just get stuck to be the one doing the archeological digs, and also remodeling to state and national standards. Iā€™ve found so many Native American artifacts that itā€™s absolutely unreal. Seems like every shovel full thereā€™s another tool or arrowhead. Iā€™ve found bottles from the mid 1800ā€™s, and found pottery as old as the 1830ā€™s. Plenty of square nails, and Rose head nails. Iā€™ve never been to a place and not doing a modern nail. My dilemma is this, Iā€™m new to the NOX world, my brother had the 800, I always had something else, as you know we mainly look for civil war relics and coins. Here at this house there was some minor Civil War activity and slaves, as well as dirt floors originally. My question to the NOX gods, what settings would you prefer on the 900? I hear the 700ā€™s settings are similar, so what would you use? Iā€™ve also got the small coil, for when Iā€™m ready to hunt the privy area. Thanks and happy hunting.
