✅ SOLVED Quartz Base

Happy Monday Everyone, I surface collected the base shown in the attachment while detecting along a row of recently planted pines. It was so clear that I thought it was a piece of glass at first. The break on the top appears as if it might be relatively recent, so I plan to return and see if the tip is nearby. I am hoping someone on this forum might be able to suggest what type of point it would have been. Thank you.

I haven’t looked deeper but off the top of my head I don’t think I’ve ever seen a paleo point made of quartz, otherwise it screams paleo to me, it almost looks like a dalton variety but they didn’t clean up the top of that bell shape in the base. Very interesting find hopefully you find the tip
