took a short ride to the infamous Woodstock, NY 
. we grazed some of the land around the CW era house. as always the ground was like a nail factory was dropped by aircraft. the 1st score was my Merc followed by crap, then crap, then more crap. put my tail between my legs after a '12 flat detail Wheat and the reed. FMERG was struttin' like a bull in heat over his Sterling Bullet Button from a spot by the Colonial well that I dismissed as a "dead" area. he shows me what he thinks is a 2 Cent, I give it a quick look---no stinkin" 2C---it's a Classic Head HALF CENT with date of 1809 and LIBERTY visible, he let me hold it for a few seconds
. we left & gazed at some hippie chicks strolling about with their hot little_________________you know
I did tend to suck today, but most of the posts for today show some serious treasure finds--kudos to those who scored big
