That blade has crosscutting teeth on it and is in a frame. It was used to cut firewood to length. It probably could be restored to use. But they are dangerous rigs. The blades of them had no guard and were belt driven, often from a farm tractor belt takeoff. The belt was dangerous too. My Dad had one and used it when I was a kid. The logs to be cut had to be lifted onto a table and the saw was then pulled through it and the log moved along for the next cut. The cut pieces fell off the table and had to be picked up and piled periodically. Hard work, but easier than hand buck sawing. There were lots of these rigs around at one time.

I do metal detect but sold my detector as it was irritating my tendinitis. I had a equinox 600/800. Will be getting the deus soon since it's suppose to be super light and PT has helped alot with my shoulder

The Deus2 has great ergonomics.
It's never pleasant to be hurting when digging/detecting.

I would liberally apply some WD-40 to the rusty nut holding that saw blade, and then come back the next day to apply WD-40 again, and then getting after that sucker with a big crescent wrench.

I'd be taking that coil of old copper wire home as well. That would probably fetch a nice chunk of $ at the scrap yard.
Easy to strip also for more $$. Insulated about $1.35-stripped $2.50 a pound.

Liquid wrench will be my go to. Or some pb blaster.

Imagine if those jars were full of coins. That’s what I keep crossing my fingers for someday.
Lol I told my friend to shake the cans out. Also seeing old shoes made me think maybe the lady threw a change purse away or something. One can hope lol
