Had a great weekend hunt at 300 acre colonial farm with lots of history in Central Virginia). Popped around different fields and got into 2 hot spots and no modern trash which was an added bonus. Found mostly colonial period relics(shoe buckle horse adornments other period buckles, coins trigger guard ) , nice sandy soil so most of relics in nice shape. The silvers are beautiful(love the capped bust) . Only date I can read on the coppers is 1810. The horse rossette might actually be silver as it’s super heavy but perhaps just nice plating. I think the other silver item is a cuff link . Normally not into jewelry but love the 1920s blue swallow bird brooch and Claddagh ring. These are the days that get the blood flowing.

Bet that was fun!

That 10 cent is really crisp.
Congrats on the cut silver as well. 17xx, sweet.
Now that is a well rounded hunt you had, and a return shall be in order I imagine.

Astonishing finds, especially that Capped dime! That looks like it's going to be a site that most of us dream about- GL on all future hunts!

Wow, that's a beautiful coin! We don't find coins that old in Minnesota.
