Found this yesterday doing what I call blast hunting. I set disc at 4 1/2 just enough to squeak out pesky foil and swing at a good rate. When I get a "blasting" hit I turn disc up to 8. This is where zinc ins breakup on my bandido. I hate zinc ins. If it's still chiming in its a dime or quarter (or possibly a silver ring). If it breaks b4 that I dig also. Of course most items are surface that's why they blast and I call it this type of hunting. I have found so many nice items of jewelry/coins this way. Besides this piece I also found a '44 whty which was just under the dirt. A solid copper penny rings in as a dime. Thanks for looking and the ID help!
