someone found a rock that had a natural look of a head, and enhanced it with a few pecks and scratches to bring out the face. Then they discarded it because it was something they made to kill time, for fun. It is not old, nor is it First Nations.

I agree the basic shape looks like a water-worn cobble. But the base, which makes it look like a neck connection, makes me wonder whether it is a natural cobble. And who, in recent times, would have a tool to make marks on a hard stone? Hopefully, someone with more knowledge than me can identify it.

Sidcane, I watched a "kids in the hall" comedy sketch...years ago...if you Google kids in the hall citizen Kane it may pop up...you may find it funny, or not, it's Canadian humor, some of their humor can be crude but I found this to be pretty good...

I think it's modern you don't see eyelashes on older art they pretty much just did circles for eyes. IMO someone was camping and got bored and started goofing off then left it when the camping trip was done.
