Came up with what we thought were possible minerals but not 100% certain. All thoughts and opinions on what this is or could be are welcome.
Hardness and streak test included. Thank to all ........

Where specifically is this from? any reaction with vinegar/hcl acid?
Our location is: The Quesnel Trough, also known as the Quesnel Terrane, is a Triassic/Jurassic-age arc of volcanosedimentary and intrusive rocks that hosts a number of alkalic copper-gold porphyry deposits with copper gold and silver values and sometimes molybdenum. The Trough runs northwest some 1,000 km from the U.S. border in south-central British Columbia to close to the Yukon border.

Just tried the vinegar & hcl acid and no reaction at all. Appreciate your input fuss ......

Green mineral could be serpentinite
Serpentinite is one of the first we looked at. It has the streak and hardness range. We ruled it out due to the lack of greasy / waxy lustre and slippery feel that serpentine group has.

Appreciate your input NJearthman, thanks & have a good one .....

Possibly the mineral Olivine?
Thanks for the input tamrock. Olivine is harder and has a glassy luster when compared to this sample.
Thanks again & have a good one ....
