Rock on Agate Show today at Muskellonge State Park

We are headed over to the agate show today. Cant wait. Its always good to get with other Rockheads. We had 10-20 waves on Lake Superior this past week, so hoping for a fresh crop of agates. Hope to post some pics, we will see.

It is 41 degrees and raining a little bit this morning but all the better to spot the agates!!!!

Some day I will make it up there. It is on my bucket list. Alas, kids in college, $ is tight. For now.

Show was awesome not much luck agate hunting this time. It was an awesome day. It was raining when we left Brimley, but sun was out by the time we got there. If you do go, stay at Deer Park Lodge, you will not regret it. Lots of public areas to rock hunt. We went out to the Two Hearted River mouth after the show. Lots of rocks, but not much in the agate department. Had a great time.
