If you think that's interesting check out this big ol' rock I found at the end of a small mound. I was just going to brush off a few leaves and wound up digging out this dirt filled hole. Also note the hooks on the sides.

If you have a detector,
I'd be checking out that whole area, that's a very interesting find!!!
Never seen those kind of marks in a stone before.

I was detecting when I ran across all of these weird rocks. If I'm ever back out that way and nobody else has done so perhaps I'll wench it off the mound and see if my F2 gets any hits. I'm usually alone when I go digging and had been hiking for a while when I started wiping it off, then digging and digging....
