All Treasure Hunting
Felt it was time to try another hunt but kept it short, so as to limit the risk of further injury. (plus the ground was very sticky today after the recent rain)
Nice mild conditions for this time of year & we feel blessed having such a good option over the Winter.
Our target for the day was 20 scrappies.
2.5hrs:
22 Scrappies
1 OK Album Coin (Common Constantine I Follis) - But it nice for me to get a deeper coin & it shows there are still some larger ones left.

I always enjoy it when you show your finds! I also marvel at how you can identify little bits and scraps that look like junk to me.
Here in the rural Midwestern US, anything 200 years old is rare. My oldest identified find was an 1856 nickel, and that was in my own farmyard. About 50 years ago a neighbor found an 1845 dime. Yet you regularly find stuff 1000 years old. I find that mind-boggling.

Years of studying books & other resources. (to ID the scraps)

Must be nice to have your own farmyard, that's pretty cool to get your history from.
