Nice mild day, took off 2 layers & the mud had dried enough not to be too sticky so we managed 5 hours & 15 minutes today.
We are very close to the edge of our previously mapped area & next hunt we may start gridding into virgin ground. (although we are getting a long way away from the Site)

4 Scrappies
2 La Tene Fibula (Celtic)
Large Roman 1st C Fibula (Biggest I've found in a long time)
Roman Hair Pin (bent)
18th C Box Stud (best guess)
18th C whatzit with incised letters
Bits of Medieval Buckle
Half a Medieval Swivel

I always enjoy your variety of much older relics than most of us North Americans find, and the excellent photos and descriptions of them. Thank you for posting.
