Today while deer hunting a wildlife management area I stumbled upon a old encampment maybe? Not sure Its a mile in the woods. I just walked around it found the saw blade sticking out of the wall. The spicier looked out of place. Maybe moonshiners? I didn't take anything or move any rocks but would love to metal detect around it. Is it legal? I'm guessing not.

As long as it is not a State of Federal Park you should be ok. But I would definitely check with the local DNR .

Look in your regulations book.In Arkansas State WMAs it does not say specifically no metal detecting. What it does say is no object may be removed from any WMA except legally taken game and fish.Kind of a sneaky way to put it, but rather concise too. That,s a pretty bow you have, don,t see many like that anymore.
