Woke up to snow. :sadsmiley: I decided I wanted to get one more day in swinging the detector at least. So I went out with all my winter gear on. After an hour I was soaked and muddy. Sitting on my knees over a hole I pulled another tin piece of junk out of, I said to myself. "Yep, I'm done."

It wasn't all in vain though! At least not completely, I got to add to my Dick Tracy cap guns I found a few days ago! Looks like its modeled after the 1911, things nice and heavy, feels almost real in my hand haha. Didn't find a makers mark, but I'll look into that later.

So, this summer/fall I put in maybe 20hours of detecting TOTAL. I wish I would have did more this last summer, and I don't know why I didn't... But, On to my next hobby which I've neglected to get ready for once again, Trapping. HH to everyone that still can! 8-)

Uggghh we are looking at snow this week. cool finds ya got there. happy hunting there!!

cool cap gun to go along with your others. those are from a time like when I was a kid, a time when kids were allowed to have an imagination. unlike today, where a kid with a toy gun is looked upon as an insane criminal

The hunt goes on, just in a different form. At some point those of us in the north will have to put away the detectors when the ground freezes, but there are a few of us that have heads as hard as the frozen ground...you know what we'll be doing, HH to you!
