I'm going with Ledbetter on this one.

Thanks for the link! I’m located in central NC, and the location where those blades are found aren’t primarily from my area according to that site. I definitely see a resemblance though, although the blade is pretty symmetrical. I thought it was interesting how different the shoulders were though.

Researching since you mentioned Ledbetter- what about a Pickwick? The description of them sounds very similar to this. It even has a median ridge on one side. Still doesn't sound common in NC, but maybe?

Savannah River points do not have a contracting stem like yours. They have a stem that is concave at its base. Both types occur during the same time period with a little overlap.

I noticed that as well. I had someone local that looked at this point and told me Savannah River, but the base is completely different like you said. And the shoulders are completely asymmetrical. Thanks for your help

I'll answer based on what it would be called here in central Virginia: It is a "Savannah River Variant". The regional name here is "Cattle Run" named for the Cattle Run site in Chesterfield County (just south of Richmond.) In essence it the same thing as Koens-Crispin, a Late Archaic broadspear style.

Wow, so interesting! Researched the Koens Crispin, and that looks so close to it. Thanks for the help and info!!

Pretty sure this is a savannah River point, but would love to know for sure. This was found on the other side of a pond where my other points I posted recently were found- while digging a hole to plant a flower bulb!!
Glad to have figured it out! Thanks for the help, y’all!

After looking at your find more closely, I believe I can see where it lost some material at bottom right in pic2. That's where the other barb went I'd say--it got broken off. So the point was more symmetrical at one time and not a Ledbetter at all.

Sure is a nice one. I have found a few points myself and they’re keys such a surprise because I never actively look for them.
