Found this today 2 ft. From where I found a large cent last week

I'm not a hundred % sure but from what I've seen here, I'll bet it's a scabbard tip.
 

That's certainly what it looks like are there any hallmarks on it anywhere???
 

I've never seen a silver scabbard tip dug?
 

I doubt very much this is silver.
Almost definitely brass or copper.

It looks awfully shiny to be old brass and you don't show a size reference. I'm thinking bolo tie end. I have never seen any scabbard tips with such designs on them, and bolo tie ends often do.

From what I have seen on Google images there are numerous tips that have varying degrees of decorativeness. This falls in the 3" range of what is left of it. Almost every piece of copper or brass I have found in this area comes out of the ground with this patina..20200505_064832.webp

It looks a lot more shiny in your first pics.
