Did alittle coin mining today to ride out my first Nor'easter....and pulled several older nickels from the 40's-50's....and managed a war time 43 half dime or disme...I guess they were called dismes with the S being silent...nickels are always fun to mine... you're pretty much guaranteed to get some older ones when mining....not so much with dimes or quarters...

I've always saved all the nickels from my change that are 1959 or older. I have countless rolls of them.
Very cool...I love older coins... I'm putting together my duplicates for my 10 year granddaughter so she can start a collection...

Thanks JohnnyMac,

I would recommend finding another hobby that makes you more money.
You can't even buy a beyblade with those coins. I love beyblades! :headbang:

Wayne RD,
More money would be nice but it's really not so much about making money for me as it is collecting, finding older coins...

I would recommend finding a different forum where they only care about money and beyblades.
