I know this is an incredibly long, long shot.. So I need all the help I can get..
I'm looking for something my G.G. Grandfather carved at the end of the Civil War..

It is a piece of wood which he carved in the shape of a heart, with a Union star on one side, enclosed in silver, and the names and dates of the battles he was involved in on the other..

I doubt it still exists, and was probably thrown away years ago.. But I am hoping it's still out there somewhere.. So if you would, please kind of share this around in the Civil War Collectors circles and maybe just maybe, someone has it in their collection..

Yes sit it would, but the odds of Me actually finding it would have to be somewhere in the millions to one I'm thinking..
