Although my colonial site is producing fewer and fewer finds lately, i've found now my 8th colonial coin with this, my 2nd New Jersey Copper.
The style looks the same to me and I think it's a 1788. I'm hopeful there will be a few more coins found at the site, and other finds too,
once I can get into the parts of the site that are currently too densely overgrown. Enjoy the Hunt, everyone!

Nice finds. Any colonial silver in the mix. It took 4 months to find colonial silver at my site

That's pretty cool. It's a variety known as the Running Fox, M.77-dd, Type III. Is also known as a M.78-dd. I have one in my own collection, photo below.

You are on quite a roll with the NJ coppers! WTG!

Nice job on the state copper

Nice save on the NJ copper!

Awesome!!

One Jersey copper is Sweet, two is just unreal!! Congrats!!

nice!, that's a good one too, pretty good condition for a 220+ year old copper, great find!

That's a great week!

Congratulations on your second NJ copper! The M.77-ddIII is one of my own personal best NJ copper finds for condition. I will add your coin to the survey, same county as your first one, hope more are in your future. This will be the 7th ground found one of this variety and die state reported found, including mine (photo attch'd) Don
