Seldom Seen Button at My Seminole War Fort

Hello everyone. I spent this morning enjoying everyone’s finds. There’s been some good ones out there.
It’s been raining every day here in Florida so I decided to hit the same yard again. I sat in the driveway in my truck waiting on the down pots to finish.
It finally stopped around 4 o clock. I detected the back yard today and was surprised to pull up this ordnance cuff button. This is only the second one that I’ve found at the fort. 😀. The suspenders piece is period but I’m unsure of the thimble. It has writing on it but I can’t make it out.
