Hello everyone. After being back in Florida for a couple days it was time to get back out to my Seminole war fort. I decided to hit the dragoon camp where some of my dearest friends live. They have been on the property since 1958 and it has been hunted heavily to say the least. Moving low and slow you can occasionally pull out a button or two. After spending an hour or so with my friends it was time to get out and do some digging. The first two signal were cuff sized dragoon buttons with Scovill back marks. The next signal was this pewter 4 hole trouser button. The afternoon is already a success for me but then I pulled out a small pistol ball followed by a 69 caliber ball. The last find was this lead doodle.
Can’t wait to get back out there sometime next week. Thanks for looking and happy hunting to all!
