This is odd, to me anyway. I forgot I found this at 1870 church. Anyone got any ideas what pistol/rifle this might be from?
From the letters/numbers on back I got this . Read another place it's either Finnish or Russian. Didn't say what type of gun though

Recently made Russian 7.62x39 cases may be made of brass, steel, copper-washed steel or any one of many oddball alloys. They oxidize in different ways. Some rust, some tarnish, some age in ways you have never seen before.
