Went shopping while heading up north to Whidbey island....a coinstar customer left behind a 64 d Roosevelt dime...
Can't complain.
nice score and you were right about checking under the handle....only two pennies last time but they were hiding right there under the handle

: ) Nice, I got a silver dime out of the one at my local walmart a year ago. They must not like silver. : P
I think so...but I wonder how much isn't rejected.... somewhere out there is a coinstar repair person that has stories to tell...

always thought the technicians who clean out the big city expressway system stormdrains must find crazy stuff but coinstar repairman now that's food for thought as well

Mine is almost always full of something. Last time I was at the grocery store:

I recently became aware that many folks, mostly a little younger than I ,are unaware that our currency used to be made of silver or at least have some in it,, probably because it was something that occured Decades ago. Wonder just whats being taught in school today along the lines of HISTORY?

Well at least there's hope that there might be one day.
Better than not having any trays to check.
Seen one machine for awhile in the city grocery.
Disappeared years ago, floor space = $$$

Always fun to check
Over here the credit unions give you the full amount of money back when you put your coins in the machine
Where the other change machines charge a percentage
