All metals and materials are impacted by the current worldwide event. Mining has been curtailed. Some by the owners. Some by governments. Production has also been curtailed. Stockpiled inventories are being sold just to keep doors open. This will cause spikes, both up and down, for several months to come. No one will be able to predict either short term or long term prices with any accuracy, although experienced people will see short term trends, other professionals will be dead wrong and lose their shirts.

Time for more coffee.
